I came across Odessa Jenkins, the first black female recognized for the first national full-contact women’s football league, via Breakfast Club interview. The spirit she embodied stirred something in me that I was determined to reach out to her and get her story told as wide as I can get it. Fast forward, we got her story to be told on Good Day LA.
